Day 23 AM

The shim in the middle was a little too thick. The oven trick worked, but now there is a forward bow. Not much, but if I would have used a .040" shim it would have been almost perfectly straight. See next couple blogs.

Continued with filing the fret ends. Three different files down the side to make fret ends flush with fb.

Beveled the fret ends with 35 deg bevel jig.

I wanted to remove the front bow so I put the rod in the neutral position, reclamped the neck on a straight bar (at the ends and middle). Then snugged up the truss rod. I'll leave it in the clamps for the day.
